You can be completely forgiven and still be limping.

But the next verse is just as honest: David still had to walk through the fallout of his choices. Grace and consequence can sit side by side without cancelling each other out, and God stays right beside you while the slow mending happens.

Your one small step today: don't ask God to fix it in the next five minutes. Just say a simple thank you that he's staying close while you heal.
