You can't fix it. You can't fight it. But there is something you can still do.

Miriam was only a girl. She couldn't stop the river or hold back the danger. But she stayed close enough to see - and that changed everything.

In today's 5-minute devotional we look at one small line in Exodus 2:4 that's very easy to miss. We'll see why staying is a choice, why presence puts you in the right place, and how Psalm 130 turns waiting into hope with its boots on. There's a simple step you can take today for someone in the middle of something you can't mend.

You are not doing this to earn God's approval. You already have it.

Tomorrow: we meet Pharaoh's daughter, the princess who chose compassion, and ask what happens when kindness costs you at home.
