It isn't lust. It isn't pride. It isn't anger. The stronghold most of us live with is far quieter than that - and far easier to excuse.

In today's five-minute devotional, Rob looks at the habit of delay: those moments when we sense God nudging us, and we don't say no, we just say not yet. We look at Psalm 119:60, where the psalmist hurries to obey without weighing up the options. We see how David's pauses cost him dearly, and how our own hesitation is often less about wisdom and more about wanting control. But God is patient, his grace doesn't run out when we stall, and there is real freedom waiting on the other side of a simple yes.
